In the presence of an international jury I obtained the authorization to supervise research (commonly called HDR in French). The manuscript was defended on July the 13th is entitled « Nanoparticles for the biomedical: Biological interactions and Protein Corona«
HDR is necessary in the French academic system to be able to officially supervise PhD students.
The manuscript was divided into three main parts:
1) A first part describing my previous research organized in four topics: i) synthesis and characterizations of nanoparticles (NPs) for biomedical applications, ii) Iron oxide NPs for medical diagnosis, iii) Biological interactions of iron oxide NPs and iv) Proteins/NPs interactions: the protein corona
2) Future projects planned on protein corona
3) A detailed CV as you could find on this webpage
